Preparation -- 5 minutes

Pre-heat the oven to about 200 degrees celsius or 390 degrees fahrenheit. Peel the red onion and garlic clove and cut in small pieces. Heat a little bit of olive oil in the medium-sized skillet and add the chopped onion and garlic.

After about 1 minute, add the minced meat until it's brown and fully cooked. That will only take a few minutes. Season with pepper, salt, paprika powder and chilli powder and after about one minute more, the meat mixture is ready.

Baking the nachos -- 10 minutes

Divide the tortilla chips evenly over a baking tray. Add the meat mixture and chop the pickled peppers into smaller pieces before you toss them into the baking tray.

Finish it off with grated gouda cheese and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is nicely melted and golden brown.
