Ingredients
- Handful of fresh chives
- 4 corn on the cob
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 lime
- 100 gram butter
- Wooden skewers

Kitchen equipment needed
- Chefs knife
- Cutting board
- Barbecue
- Bowl
- Small saucepan
Preparation — 10 minutes
REMOVE the husk from the corn when using fresh corn. We’ve used pre-cleaned corn from the supermarket. CLEAN the corn. FINELY chop a handful of fresh chives. PEEL and finely chop the cloves of garlic. MELT 100 gram butter in the small saucepan on low heat. Turn off the heat and add in the chopped garlic.
SLICE each corn in two pieces and pierce a wooden skewer through the middle of the corn. Repeat this step for the remaining pieces of corn.

Cooking the corn — 10 minutes
PREPARE your barbecue first. Simply cook the corn by placing the skewers on the barbecue, try to place them around the edges and not in direct heat. The corn kernels can dry out very fast when cooking with high temperatures. The corn will be done in about 10 – 15 minutes.
PLACE the small saucepan with the melted butter for a few minutes on the barbecue. POUR the hot garlic butter over the corn when ready (put them on a plate first!). SLICE the lime in two and squeeze out its juice over the corn. GARNISH with finely chopped chives. Enjoy!
