Making the cantaloupe dessert – 10 minutes

Cut the cantaloupe into eight parts. Remove cantaloupe seeds with either a spoon or a chef's knife. Then cut all of the slices into little bite-sized chunks.

Grab a large bowl and squeeze in fresh lemon juice from half a lemon using the citrus juicer.

Mix it up with finely minced mint leaves and 2 and a half tablespoons of sweet honey.  give it a good stir with a fork or whisk. Add a pinch of salt, this will significantly mix the flavours of the mint and honey together.

Put the cantaloupe chunks into a bowl or glass and pour the mint, lime and honey mixture on top of it. Best served medium chilled. You can refrigerate this, but it should be consumed the same day.

We sure enjoyed this desert on a hot summer night, and we hope you will too! this dessert is quite light to consume and will give you a very big smile on your face. Enjoy!
