Finely cut the chilli pepper and garlic cloves and grate the ginger root. Combine soy sauce, chilli pepper, garlic, grated ginger and season with honey. Cut the pork tenderloin into medium-sized pieces.
Mix the marinade with the pork pieces and place them in a zip lock bag. Marinate the pork pieces for at least 4 hours. Soak the wooden skewers in water for a few hours.
This will prevent them from burning when you place them on the grill later on. We use this soaking trick also for any kind of skewer for the barbecue.
Drain the pork tenderloin and pierce the pieces on wooden skewers. Heat the grill pan and grill the skewers for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Serve the grilled pork tenderloin with satay sauce and plain rice. As a vegetable suggestion, you can make these oriental green beans if you like!
