Preparation -- 5 minutes

To make the herb mixture, simply mix together all of the dried herbs. Grab the extra plate and divide the herb mixture over it. Pat the tuna steak dry using some paper kitchen towels.

Coat the entire outside of the tuna steak by placing it on the plate containing the herbs. Coat every part of the tuna steak.

Cooking the tuna steak -- 5 minutes

Put the medium-sized skillet on medium-high heat. Don't add butter, olive oil or anything else. The tuna steak only needs a few minutes. When the skillet is hot, place the tuna steak in the middle. Don't move the tuna steak for at least 2 minutes.

Turn, let cook for another 2 minutes. Cook the sides too for 1 minute each. The inside of the tuna steak should be nicely coloured, as shown in the pictures. For garnish, we added spiralized cucumber and halved cherry tomatoes.

Since the tuna steak has enough spices, we thought there was no need for oil or extra herbs. Enjoy!
