- Jar sun-dried tomatoes
- Go for the sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil with garlic and herbs
- Fresh basil leaves
- Mini mozzarella balls
Kitchen equipment needed
- Cutting board with deep inset
- Wooden skewers
- Plate or a nice wooden board for serving the tapas on.
Making the mini mozzarella tapas bites — 10 minutes
DRAIN liquid from the mini mozzarella balls package. OPEN the jar with sun-dried tomatoes, place a few on the cutting board. SLICE the larger ones into bite-sized pieces of about 2 – 3 cm large. GET some leaves from the basil plant.
RUN a wooden skewer through a mozzarella ball, then a basil leaf and final a piece of sun-dried tomato. REPEAT until all the mini mozzarella balls are used up, put the finished tapas skewers on a plate or nice wooden board for serving. Enjoy!
