Start by making the peanut sauce. Click here to view our recipe for home-made satay sauce SKIP this step when using store-bought satay sauce. WASH the romaine lettuce and dry well.
Slice off the ends off the lettuce. Slice the two onions into rings and the sweet-sour pickles into long and thin strips.
Heat up a knob of butter in the small skillet. Cook the onion rings until golden brown. Cook up 4 eggs in the same pan afterwards. Heat up two knobs of butter in the griddle pan and bake the beef burgers nicely browned.
SLICE open the hamburger buns using a bread knife. PLACE a few leafs of lettuce on the bottom side of the hamburger bun. ADD a burger, some onion rings, pickles, cooked egg and a nice big scoop of satay sauce.
Piece a wooden skewer through the burger to prevent it from falling apart. These peanut butter burgers are very easy to make and are best enjoyed with a nice home-made vanilla milkshake. Enjoy your meal!
