- a little more than a handful of basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon Grana padano or Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 dl good quality olive oil (0.4 cups)
- pepper and salt to taste

Making pesto — 5 minutes
Grate the Grana padano or Parmesan cheese and peel the garlic cloves.
Combine basil leaves, pine nuts, peeled garlic cloves, grated grana padano and olive oil in the foodprocessor. It will only take a few minutes to create a smooth mixture. Season with pepper and salt.
Actually, that’s all there is to it. Very easy for something so delicious. Use it to create a lovely pasta dish, or use it on fish, meat or even pizza. Enjoy!
