- 300 gram plain quark
- 150 ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of ginger syrup
- coffee liqueur
- 200 gram fresh strawberries
- 16 coffee flavored cookies
- small handful of basil leaves (we’ve used lemon basil)

Preparation — 10 minutes + waiting time
WHIP up the cream and combine with the quark, 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur, 2 tablespoons of ginger syrup and 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and refrigerate for at least half an hour. You can use it right away, but it will be a bit more runny.
RINSE the strawberries and remove the stems. SLICE the strawberries into quarters and set aside.
Finishing the quark, strawberry and coffee dessert — 10 minutes
RINSE and chop up the lemon basil leaves. Start with a layer of strawberry quarters, a small amount of the chopped basil, then crumble 2 cookies over each glass and a few spoons of the quark mixture. REPEAT all the layers until the glasses are filled and end the desserts with a dash of coffee liqueur. GARNISH with lemon basil and enjoy!
