Preparation -- 10 minutes

Fill the large pan with water and salt and bring to a boil. Cook the noodles for about 8 minutes, depending on the type of noodles you're using.

Meanwhile rinse the leek and chop into fine (half) rings. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

Finishing the quick bami goreng -- 10 minutes

Heat the wok on high heat and as soon as the wok starts to smoke, add some sunflower or other neutral oil. Add the leek and diced ham and after about a minute also add the garlic.

Drain the noodles and add them into the wok along with the bean sprouts, bami spice mix and mirin. Keep the fire high while you stir it all together and also add sambal and soy sauce.

There's no need to add extra pepper and salt, the soy sauce is salty enough and the spice mix will give it enough flavour already. The bean sprouts taste best when they're still a bit crunchy. Enjoy!
