Ingredients
- 6 tomatoes
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- small handful of fresh parsley or cilantro
- tortilla chips for serving

Kitchen equipment needed
- cutting board & chef’s knife
- medium-sized bowl
Preparation — 5 minutes
RINSE the tomatoes, remove the seeds and chop the tomatoes into small pieces. REMOVE the seeds from the jalapeño if you like a milder version and finely chop the pepper. Finely CHOP the parsley.

Finishing the quick tomato salsa — 5 minutes
COMBINE tomatoes with the finely chopped garlic and jalapeño. SEASON with ground cumin and add the chopped parsley or cilantro. For the best result you can wait about an hour so the flavors will enhance, but that’s not necessary. SERVE as a dip for tortilla chips, enjoy!
