Preparation -- 10 minutes

Fill a medium-sized pan with water and salt and bring to a boil. Peel the potatoes and slice them into equal pieces. Cook the potatoes for about 15 minutes, depending on their size.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Drain the sauerkraut, rinse the wild peaches and meanwhile start with the sauerkraut as well.

Finishing the summer sauerkraut with wild peaches -- 20 minutes

Heat the large skillet on medium-high heat and sauté the onion about 2 minutes in the dry skillet. Add the drained sauerkraut and orange juice and heat it all together for about 10 minutes until the orange juice is evaporated enough.

Remove the pit from the wild peaches and chop them into pieces. Stir the pieces of peach into the sauerkraut and season with pepper and salt.

Drain the potato pieces. Season them with salt and serve with the summer sauerkraut with wild peaches.

We completed this dish with a chicken fillet seasoned with paprika powder, pepper, salt and garlic powder, but you can also serve it as a vegetarian dish. Enjoy!
