Preparation – 5 minutes

Wash and dice the tomato, and place it into the small bowl. Peel the cloves of garlic and set them aside for now. Finely chop the basil leaves and mix them with the diced tomato.

Making the tomato and basil bruschetta – 5 minutes

Bake the baguette, if it's already pre-baked skip this step. Slice the baguette sideways, then drizzle olive oil over the bread. Place the griddle pan on medium-high heat and toast the baguette slices until dark grill lines appear.

Remove from the griddle pan and rub the bread with the peeled garlic cloves. Taste the tomato basil mixture and add salt & pepper to taste.

Scoop the mixture onto the toasted bread and serve immediately, enjoy!
