Start with the homemade Nutella. You can follow our recipe for homemade Nutella here. RINSE the strawberries with running cold water and remove the stems.
Cut the strawberries in slices and set them aside. Mix together the egg, milk and sugar. You can vary by adding a pinch of ground cinnamon if you like.
Heat butter in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture until completely soaked, immediately place them in the hot skillet.
Do not let them soak in the mixture too long, the bread will absorb the liquid and become very mushy. Bake the toast on both sides for about 2 minutes, or until beautifully golden brown.
Transfer the toast to a plate and divide the nutella on the hot french toast. Divide the strawberry slices, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
