PEEL the shallot. WASH and peel the peel the apple, then dice it. ADD apple, shallot, cloves, cardamom pods, dried chili peppers, sugar and white wine vinegar into the medium-sized skillet.

ADD kaki fruit to the mixture, cook for another 10 minutes. REMOVE cardamom, chili peppers and cloves. This delicious kaki chutney perfect as a side for turkey or chicken.
