Preheat the barbecue in advance, if you use a gas barbecue, this is not necessary. Remove the bacon from the packaging and marinate it completely with the mustard. Use a large bowl, your hands (or possibly a spoon).
Make sure the bacon is completely covered with the french mustard. Add salt and pepper. Rinse some iceberg lettuce leaves and tomatoes with cold water.
Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the green parts. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Pat the iceberg lettuce dry. Peel and cut the red onion in half, then cut half a red onion into half rings.
Grill the bacon on both sides until nicely crispy. Now cut open the baguettes. Tear or cut the iceberg into pieces and divide it over the sandwiches. Add tomato slices, then bacon and a few slices of red onion.
Serve with garlic sauce on the side, or divide over the sandwiches to your liking. Enjoy this delicious simple bacon sandwich with homemade garlic sauce!
