Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius or 350 degrees fahrenheit. Peel all the lychees, you can use a paring knife to make it easier. You can now remove the pit, but we thought they look more presentable if the lychee is still intact.
If you find peeling the lychees is too troublesome, you can just use factory peeled (canned) lychees. The biggest downside to this is that the lychees are less tasty.
Combine the peeled lychee with butter, cinnamon and honey.
Place the oven dish in the oven and roast for about 10 minutes. You'll notice the honey and butter will caramelize a bit and the smell is absolutely amazing.
That's it, a really really delicious and easy dessert. Combine with ice cream and whipped cream or serve as they are.
