This roasted romanesco not only looks fantastic and festive, but it also tastes incredibly delicious. This green cauliflower is extra tasty with a touch of orange and curry powder.
Roasted romanesco is a beautiful and flavorful side dish that pairs perfectly with both meat and fish. This oven-baked romanesco is wonderfully crispy because it’s best when still slightly firm.
This green cauliflower looks so festive that it’s perfect for serving during the holidays. With a bit of imagination, the florets even look like little Christmas trees, don’t you think?

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit).
Cut the romanesco into nice florets, making sure they are about the same size so they cook evenly.
Place the florets on a baking sheet, it’s not necessary to line it with parchment paper.
Drizzle with a generous amount of olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of curry powder on top.
Roast the romanesco in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, they taste best when still slightly firm, but you can roast them a little longer if you prefer.
Finish with the zest of half an orange and serve immediately. Enjoy!
