All you need to do is to go to the store and buy the liquor and cherries. No further preparation needed.
Making a classic Manhattan cocktail - 5 minutes
Pour the whiskey, vermouth and two dashes of bitters in a container, bowl or mixing. Stir well together and pour the mixture into a nice cocktail glass.
The best way of mixing the liquids together would be to mix them in a chilled container. Pierce a cherry on a cocktail stick and place it on top of the cocktail glass. It's possible to prepare this cocktail in advance, as long as you keep it refrigerated.
