Am confused.Looking at the picture the potatoes ands cheese are on top..so what comes first? 
Hi Rita, the potatoes aren't on top, so not sure why you're confused? The layers are exactly how we described it;
" POUR the cream and egg mixture on top. DIVIDE the minced beef and leek mixture over the oven dish and FINISH with a thick layer of grated cheese. " Greetings :-) 
It says to use pre-cooked potatoes, so why do you have to check that the potatoes are done? Arenât they already done?
