Gravatar van A_Boleyn A blog friend posted a similar dish some time ago with something called brik pastry (not available locally) which can also be fried and I've been interested in trying to recreate it at some point. It's great to learn about this phyllo option. I'm sorry to hear that Veronique is allergic to fish. I didn't grow up eating a lot of it but I've grown to enjoy it over the years. How about seafood like lobster, crab, shrimp, mussels/clams etc.

Gravatar van Ohmydish Oh yes, we're familiar with the brick dough (or also called brik pastry)! Luckily Veronique can eat seafood, yay :) Still planning on creating delicious lobster recipes to put up on the site.
