Crispy Parmesan chicken

This is a very simple recipe for crispy Parmesan chicken. Ready in just 20 minutes, this recipe serves 4 people. Delicious with potatoes and a salad.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Flour
  • 3 medium eggs, beaten
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 200 grams of breadcrumbs or panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
  • 50 grams finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • Butter for frying

Preparation – 10 minutes

Finely dice the garlic cloves. Remove any excess fat and sinew from the chicken breasts. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Add flour to a deep plate, 3 eggs to another, and about 50 grams of finely grated Parmesan cheese and the breadcrumbs to the final plate.

Dip a chicken breast in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the cheese and breadcrumb mixture. Repeat this step for the remaining chicken breasts, making sure they are completely coated.

Finishing the crispy Parmesan chicken – 10 minutes

Place a large frying pan over a medium-high heat and add a knob of butter. Sauté the chicken breasts until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Add the finely chopped garlic and sauté until the chicken is cooked through. Enjoy your meal!
