If you want to make the pizza dough yourself, it's best to do this first as the dough needs to rise before you can continue with the rest of the pizza.
Wash the peppers and cut half of each colour of pepper into fairly small pieces. Peel the red onion and cut into rings. Halve a handful of pitted black olives.
Season 50 ml passata with some salt and pepper (in a bowl).
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius and line a baking tray with baking parchment.
Roll out the pizza dough to your desired shape. The wider you roll out the dough, the crisper and thinner the base will eventually become.
Spread the pizza base with the passata, leaving the edges free of sauce as best as you can. Use the back of a tablespoon for this.
Cover the pizza with the red, green and yellow pepper chunks. Spread the kebab meat strips over the pizza and cover with a thin layer of grated mozzarella.
Finish by scattering over the halved black olives and red onion rings.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is well baked.
Check this by gently pressing the pizza base with your finger to judge whether the crust is crisp enough.
If necessary, lift the pizza slightly to see if the underside has also cooked. Serve immediately, enjoy your meal!
Can I use a vegetarian kebab topping?
You can, but season with extra kebab herbs.
Can I make the doner kebab pizza in advance?
You can prepare and freeze the whole pizza. Wrap the doner kebab pizza well with cling film and store it in the freezer for up to 2 months.
