Preparation - 5 to 10 minutes
If you're using a fresh pineapple, you need to divide it into slices first. The most easy way is using canned pineapple slices. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius or 350 degrees fahrenheit.
You can also use an air fryer instead. Heat a grill pan on medium-high heat. Grill both slices of bread on both sides until they're crunchy, theres no need to add any butter or oil.
Place a slice of bread on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place a slice of cheese, then a slice of ham and again a slice of cheese.
Place the second slice of bread on top, then a slice of pineapple and finish with another slice of cheese.

Finishing the Hawaiian toastie - 5 minutes
Place the toastie in the oven and bake until the cheese has melted. Transfer the toastie to a plate and serve immediately with some tomato ketchup. Enjoy!
