Preferably use organic orange, or wash the orange well before you slice it. Place the orange slices in a tea mug or pot.
Slice 0.5 cm of fresh ginger; it is not necessary to peel the ginger root first.

Add cinnamon, star anise, and cloves, and pour boiling water over it.
Cover if necessary to keep the tea warm while the flavors infuse.
