Add olive oil to the Italian sandwiches, then lightly toast it. The olive oil will make the bread extra crispy and enjoyable. Slice the plum tomatoes into thin slices. Rinse and dry the romaine lettuce.
Grab a bowl and by using a garlic press, press the garlic cloves and add to the bowl. Whisk in the mayonnaise and fresh lemon juice.
Slice the Italian bread into two pieces by using a bread knife. Spread one side of each slice with garlic mayonnaise. Divide the fresh prosciutto slices over 4 pieces.
Top it with some romaine lettuce leaves and thinly slices tomatoes. Put on the remaining bread slice on each slice mayonnaise side down. Serve the prosciutto sandwich immediately for best taste!
