Heat the milk with 2 tablespoons of pumpkin purée and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Meanwhile, whip the cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar, depending on how sweet you want the cream. You can also use a spray can of whipped cream.
Brew 120 ml of espresso and stir this, plus 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and half a teaspoon of pumpkin spice mix, into the warm milk.
Pour the warm latte into 2 large mugs and top with a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with a little pumpkin spice mix, enjoy!
Where can you buy pumpkin purée?
American recipes often list “canned pumpkin purée”, or pumpkin purée. Unfortunately, this is not easy to source outside America, but luckily you can make it yourself very easily.
Can you reheat the pumpkin spice latte?
If you have not yet added the whipped cream to the latte, you can reheat the coffee and milk mixture in a pan.
