Tip: before you start making this delicious sgroppino, it is best to put the alcohol in the freezer first. Put the vodka and the limoncello in the freezer for at least an hour before using them. Keep the prosecco cold in the fridge.
Remove the lemon sorbet from the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes to make it easier to mix. Cut 4 thin slices of lemon, if using.
Scoop 400 grams of lemon sorbet into the blender or stand mixer. Purée until the sorbet becomes slightly fluffy. Add 200 ml of prosecco, followed by 60 ml of vodka and 60 ml of limoncello.
Mix until well combined. You can taste the cocktail before you pour the drinks, using a spoon or a straw.
If you want to make the cocktail stronger, you can add more vodka or limoncello.
Pour the sgroppino into the 4 cocktail glasses, serve with a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. Enjoy this delicious and simple italian sgroppino!
