Baked feta


This baked feta is ideal as an appetizer, snack or during lunch. Extra delicious with tomatoes and served with some bread for dipping.

  • 200 grams of feta
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • balsamic vinegar
  • handful of cherry tomatoes
  • bread for serving

Preparation – 5 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.

Cut the block of feta in half and place each piece in a ramekin. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with a dash of olive oil and a little balsamic vinegar.

Finishing the baked feta from the oven – 15 minutes

Spread half a tablespoon of dried oregano on each piece of feta and place some of the halved tomatoes on top, not too much.

Bake the feta until nice and golden brown in about 10 to 15 minutes. The exact baking time depends on the oven. Serve immediately with bread, enjoy!
