Rinse the cranberries if needed and add them along with 150 ml orange juice and 2 tablespoons of sugar to the small saucepan. If you want you can put a lid on, but that's not necessary.
Cook the cranberries until they pop and you'll end up with a somewhat thickened sauce. That will take about 10 to 15 minutes. Add zest of half an orange and season with some more sugar if needed.
Some cranberries can be a bit more sour than others. Use an immersion blender if you like a smoother sauce. This amazing sauce can be served with lots of meat, like turkey, guinea fowl or duck. Enjoy!
