Rinse the leeks to get rid of any sand and remove the outer leaves. Pat the leeks dry and chop them into thin slices. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
Combine 200 gram cream and the egg in the bowl and beat them with a fork. Heat butter in the large skillet on medium-high heat. Cook the garlic along with the minced beef and leek rings for a few minutes.
Add smoked paprika and garam masala and mix well. Cook for a few minutes, until the minced beef is browned beautiful and season with pepper and salt.
Cover the oven dish with pre-cooked potato slices and create about 3 layers of potatoes. Pour the cream and egg mixture on top.
Divide the minced beef and leek mixture over the oven dish and finish with a thick layer of grated cheese.
Pre-heat the oven to 220 degrees celsius or 430 degrees fahrenheit. Bake the oven dish in the oven for about 25 - 30 minutes, depending on your oven.
You can check with a fork if the potatoes are done, if the potatoes are softened enough, the oven dish is done.
REMOVE the oven dish from the oven and let it cool of for a few minutes before serving. SERVE with a delicious salad, enjoy!
