Miso roasted broccoli

Ingredients

  • about 500 grams of broccoli
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons of white miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • pepper and salt to taste

Preparation - 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius or 350 degrees fahrenheit.

Divide the broccoli into florets and place in an oven dish. Drizzle with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Mix the garlic cloves with miso paste, maple syrup and sesame oil.

Finishing the roasted broccoli with miso - 20 minutes

Roast the broccoli florets for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven.

After 10 minutes, mix the miso sauce into the broccoli florets and bake them in the oven for another 10 minutes. Stir occasionally, the broccoli is ready as soon as it is al dente.

Season again with salt and pepper. A delicious side dish with, for example, beef teriyaki and fried rice, enjoy!
