You can either use store-bought dough or even better: make your own dough! We've already written an extensive article on how you can make your own pizza dough.
Prepare the pizza dough before anything else, you can find the article by clicking on this link: how to make pizza dough.
We always like this step, gather all of the ingredients and start cutting the Roma tomatoes and olives into halves. Finely dice the onion, we also have a nice article on how you can be a pro in dicing onions.
Check it out by clicking on this link: how to properly dice onions. Dice the bell peppers and chop the green peppers into nice rings. We're going to spread the pizza crust with a nice tomato paste.
Press the garlic, put it into a bowl and add the tomato paste. Add pepper and salt to taste along with some oregano. Give it a good stir, this will be the base for our toppings. Apply flour to your countertop and roll the pizza flat into a big circle.
The thicker the dough, the longer the cooking process will take. If you make the pizza dough too thick, the ingredients will eventually burn before the dough becomes a nice and delicious pizza crust.
Spread the tomato paste mixture evenly over the pizza dough and start adding the toppings. You can decide for yourself in which order you want to do this. We like to add the ham first because that can burn more quickly than the mozzarella or olives.
Prepare an oven plate by lining it with greaseproof paper. Carefully transfer the pizza onto the plate before continuing to the next step.
Heat your oven to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius or 390 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the oven plate with the pizza in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and delicious!
Be sure to check how the pizza is doing now and then. Enjoy your home-made pizza mozzarella with ham and peppers! Oh yeah, a nice heavy, red wine will do nicely with this pizza.
