You can either use store-bought dough or make your own dough. We've written an extensive article on how you can make your own pizza dough.
Prepare your pizza dough before preparing the topping.
Cut the cherry tomatoes and the olives in half. Chop the onion and peppers into fine dice. Chop the clove of garlic as finely as possible and add to the bowl.
Mix the garlic together with the tomato purée, oregano and some salt and pepper. Dust the work surface with some flour and roll out the pizza dough to form a round pizza base.
Note that the thicker the pizza base, the longer it needs to bake in the oven. Spread the tomato purée mixture over the pizza base, then add the toppings. Begin with the ham, as it can burn faster than the rest of the ingredients. Line the baking tray with baking parchment and place the pizza on it.
Heat your oven to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for around 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Check on the pizza from time to time during baking.
Enjoy your homemade pizza mozzarella with ham and peppers (with a good glass of red wine). Bon appétit!
