Fill a large pan with water and bring to a boil. Cook the pasta until they're al dente. Rinse the green onion and chop them into thin rings. Peel and finely chop the onion.
Heat a pan on medium-high heat and heat a bit of olive oil. Sauté the onion for a few minutes and add cream along with red pesto and herb de Provence.
Drain the pasta, add it to the sauce and stir well. Add the green onions and season with pepper and salt.
Serve the red pesto pasta with Serrano ham in pieces and a bit of grated cheese if you like, enjoy!
