Preparation – 5 minutes + 10 minutes waiting

Add a generous splash of sunflower oil to a bowl. Crush, peel and cut the 2 cloves of garlic as finely as possible. Also, chop a small red chilli pepper as finely as possible. Add this to the bowl with sunflower oil.

Season with salt, pepper and a drop or 6 Tabasco. Mix everything well with a spoon. Chop a small handful of fresh chives as finely as possible.

Are you using fresh shrimps? Then remove the head and also remove its tail and shell. Remove the intestinal tract using a small knife and rinse well under cold running water. You can skip this step if you are using peeled shrimps.

Add the peeled shrimps to the bowl with pepper and garlic. Mix well with a spoon and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
