- pepper and salt to taste
- bread for serving
Kitchen equipment needed
- cutting board & chef’s knife
- medium-sized skillet
- wooden spoon
Preparation — 10 minutes
Peel and finely chop the red onion and garlic cloves. Drain the artichokes and divide them into halves. Divide the ham into smaller pieces.
Finishing the artichoke with ham — 10 minutes
Heat a bit of olive oil in a skillet and sauté the garlic and onion for a few minutes. Add the artichoke halves and cook them some more.
Turn down the heat and add 100 ml heavy cream. Let it simmer a few minutes more until the onion, garlic and artichokes are a bit softened and the sauce has thickened. Season with epper and salt and serve with pieces of ham and bread for dipping. Enjoy!
