Making your own spice mixes has the added benefit that you can fully adjust the flavor to your liking and they often contain less salt.
You just need to mix the spices, and your homemade mix is ready to use. If you want to use certain spices whole, you can easily grind them with a mortar and pestle. Store the mix in a well-sealed jar, and it will stay good for months.

With this spice mix you can create the most delicious homemade gyros, like pork gyros pitas!
