tip: you can buy grated mozzarella cheese in most stores. Grating a ball of mozzarella by hand is not very handy! this recipe is for 2 salami pizza's
START by making the pizza dough. TO achieve this follow our recipe on how to make your own pizza dough. DUST the kitchen countertop and rolling-pin with flour and roll out half of the pizza dough into a (round) pizza crust.
Chop the salami sausage into thin slices using a knife and cutting board. Pre-heat the oven to a temperature of 220 degrees celsius or 430 degrees fahrenheit.
Add the contents of the large cans of tomato paste along with a large handful of dried oregano into the bowl, mix well to create a delicious basic pizza sauce.
Divide half of the sauce over the pizza crust, then add grated mozzarella. Divide half of the sliced salami over the pizza too and finish by adding ground pepper.
Repeat above step for the other half of the pizza dough and ingredients.
Cover the baking tray with greaseproof baking paper and add the pizza on top of it. Bake the pizza into the pre-heated oven in about 10 to 15 minutes time, depending on how powerful the oven is.
Remove the salami pizza from the oven and repeat this step for the other pizza. Slice the pizza into equal cuts and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
