Preparation -- 10 minutes

Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius or 350 degrees fahrenheit and line the oven tray with parchment paper. Beat an egg in a small bowl with a fork. Divide the sheet of puff pastry into quite thin strips, but not too thin.

Coat the puff pastry with the beaten egg using the silicone kitchen brush. Divide the poppy seeds, sesame seeds and grated cheese on top. Season with a bit of pepper and salt.

Twist the strips into spirals and transfer them to the parchment paper. Repeat for the rest of the cheese twists.

Finishing the cheese twists -- 15 minutes

Bake the cheese twists for about 15 minutes until they're beautiful golden brown. The exact time depends on the oven and the thickness of the twists.

You can store them in an airtight container, enjoy!
