If you want to make your own garlic sauce, it's best to do this first to enhance the flavours. You can also use store-bought garlic sauce.
Cut the meat into thin strips and mix with 2 tablespoons of shawarma seasoning. Let it marinate for at least half an hour.
Cut the iceberg lettuce into fine strips. Rinse the tomato and cucumber and cut them into (half) thin slices.
Bake the fries until they are crispy and golden. You can use a deep fryer, a heavy-bottomed pan with oil or an air fryer.
Heat a small dash of oil in a medium-sized frying pan and cook the meat for a few minutes.
Divide the fries over an oven dish and place the shawarma on top. Then some of the lettuce, tomato and cucumber.
Divide a handful of grated cheese on top and place the dish in the oven under the grill. You can also melt the cheese in the air fryer.
Serve the kapsalon with garlic sauce, enjoy!
