Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
Peel the pumpkin, if desired. With some varieties (bottle gourd, for example) this is not absolutely necessary. Remove the pumpkin seeds and cut the pumpkin into slices, but not too thick.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika over the pumpkin and lay the slices on a baking tray.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Roast the pumpkin in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, the exact time depends on your oven and the thickness of the pumpkin slices. Enjoy your meal!
