For the best result, use black pepper and coarse sea salt with these Turkish green peppers. You can roast them in the oven or grill them on the barbecue.
These peppers are very mild because they are more like bell peppers than hot chili peppers. Sometimes there might be a spicy one, but that happens only once in a while.

How to make roasted Turkish green peppers – 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or prepare the barbecue.
Wash the peppers and dry them with a paper towel. Drizzle them with olive oil, black pepper and salt, then spread them out on a baking tray if using the oven.

Roast the peppers for about 10 to 15 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. They are done when they’ve softened and start to get dark spots.
If you want you can remove the seeds, but it's not really necessary since these Turkish peppers aren't very spicy. Enjoy!
