CHOP the grapefruit and lime in halves. CUT off one slice of each, divide the slices into halves and set them aside for garnish.
SQUEEZE the juice from the grapefruit and lime, but keep them apart.
DIVIDE the juice of half a grapefruit in each glass and also the juice of half a lime. POUR about 40 ml Aperol in each glass and about 50 ml tonic.
FINISH the cocktail with ice cubes and the slices of grapefruit and lime. Enjoy!
