Homemade tahini sauce

This homemade tahini sauce is made with garlic and lemon. Tahini sauce is different from tahin, tahin is simply a paste made of sesame seeds.

  • 120 ml tahin (sesame paste)
  • 80 ml lukewarm water
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • juice of half a lemon
  • salt to taste
  • few sprigs of flat leaf parsley

Preparation – 5 minutes

Peel the garlic cloves and divide them into halves. Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Finely chop the parsley and set it aside.

Finishing the homemade tahini sauce -- 5 minutes

Combine tahin (sesame paste), garlic cloves, lukewarm water and lemon juice in a small blender until you've reached a smooth sauce. Season with salt and serve with finely chopped parsley.

Serve this tahini sauce as a dipping sauce with vegetables or pita bread. Enjoy!
