Start with the homemade pizza dough, you can also use store-bought pizza dough. DUST your work surface and rolling-pin with flour and divide the dough into half to create two round and flat pizza bottoms.
Fold the edges inwards and flip the pizza dough to the other side, the reason for this is preventing the edges to curl during baking. Transfer the pizza crust to the medium-sized pan.
Rinse and divide the tomatoes and bell pepper into small pieces or strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Peel the red onion and divide into rings or small pieces, as you prefer.
Drain the mozzarella and divide into smaller pieces. note: this is a recipe for 2 pan pizzas, so use half of the ingredients. Pre-heat the oven to 220 degrees celsius or 430 degrees fahrenheit.
Start with the toppings, coat the bottom with some tomato paste. Divide half of the pepper, red onion, garlic, bacon, tomatoes and mozzarella.
Cover the top with some grated cheese and a large dash of dried oregano. Season with pepper and salt.
Bake the pizza in the pre-heated oven for about 10 to 15 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven, the pizza is done when the crust is crispy and the cheese is beautiful golden brown.
Repeat for the second pan pizza. Serve immediately, enjoy!
