During the holidays, Christmas drinks and Christmas cocktails are an absolute must. It’s the perfect way to start Christmas dinner with a delicious welcome drink to set the right mood.
A delightful mulled wine or hot chocolate with a twist, for example, is perfect after a walk on Christmas Day.
From the tastiest red cocktails to festive mixed drinks and beautiful red wines during dinner. At Christmas, we like to enjoy something a little more special, both with and without alcohol.
End the Christmas dinner with a special coffee, such as an Irish coffee, an espresso martini, or an affogato, coffee with vanilla ice cream.
You can dress up many drinks and cocktails with fun decorations to make them festive, such as a sprig of rosemary, a sparkling star, a (dried) slice of orange, fresh cranberries, or redcurrants.
At a Christmas drinks party, alongside the tastiest snacks, a tray full of sparkling festive drinks is a must. For example, try a Kir Royal, champagne with a festive twist. It’s easy to make in larger quantities with a dazzling result.
We have different recipe ideas ready for you, so you can get inspiration for dinner. For the recipe of the day, we have chosen this delicious Passion fruit sour for you. Place a handful of ice cubes in a cocktail shaker and add dark rum (or whiskey), lemon juice, passion fruit juice, and 1 egg white.
Put the lid on the shaker and shake well for about 1 minute, so the egg white becomes extra frothy.
Pour into a glass without ice cubes, and you will see the egg white forming thick foam on top of the cocktail.
