Coat the pie dish with butter and puff pastry. Create some holes in the bottom of the puff pastry using a fork. Pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius or 340 degrees Fahrenheit.
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves, or use a garlic press. Combine garlic with soft butter in a medium-sized bowl and also add the pine nuts and finely grated cheese.
As soon as the mixture is mixed well you can divide it over the bottom of the puff pastry. Make sure the bottom is covered completely.
Beat the eggs along with cream in the medium-sized bowl and season with salt.
Pour the egg mixture on top and bake until it's beautiful golden brown, that will take about 40 minutes. Serve immediately, for example with a lovely simple green salad. Enjoy!
