Preparation - 10 minutes

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Peel and finely grate the ginger. Grate the peel of a lime and squeeze its juice. Combine lime zest and juice with garlic, ginger, kecap, soy sauce, tamarind paste and sambal.

Add the chicken legs and make sure they're coated completely.

Finishing the slow cooker chicken legs - 4 hours

Add the coated chicken legs along with a cinnamon stick to a slow cooker and set it to the lowest setting. After about 4 hours the chicken will be so tender it will fall off the bone.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with rice and cucumber salad or couscous with vegetables. Enjoy!
